Vehicle Appraiser Services

The City of Tucson has awarded a contract to IAS Tucson LLC for vehicle appraiser services. The contract is for a period of 5 years, with the option to renew for an additional 4 years. The contractor will provide trained and competent vehicle appraisers to assess damages to vehicles and prepare reports. The contractor will also maintain all files and records necessary for the appraisals and provide them to the City upon request. The contract includes provisions for payment, insurance, and termination. The City reserves the right to terminate the contract at any time with or without cause. Some key points of the contract include: • The contractor will provide vehicle appraisals within 48 hours of being assigned a claim by the City. • The contractor will inform the City of any alternate timelines agreed upon between the contractor and the claimant. • The contractor will provide all necessary forms and reports as mutually agreed upon by the City and the contractor. • The contractor will maintain all files and records necessary for the appraisals and provide them to the City upon request. • The contract includes provisions for payment, including a flat fee of $120.00 for auto, motorcycle, and small truck appraisals, and $85.00 per hour for large truck and heavy equipment appraisals. • The contract includes provisions for insurance, including commercial general liability, commercial automobile liability, and workers' compensation. • The contract includes provisions for termination, including the City's right to terminate the contract at any time with or without cause.
