The City of Vineland awarded a one‑year professional services agreement to Hardenbergh Insurance Group to serve as the municipality’s risk‑management consultant and insurance broker under the TRICO Joint Insurance Fund bylaws. The consultant must be a New Jersey‑licensed property/casualty insurance producer and will provide exposure identification, fund‑coverage guidance, supplemental coverage procurement, and budget assistance. Compensation consists of standard brokerage commissions for any coverage placed outside the Fund and a flat consulting fee not to exceed 6 % of the City’s annual TRICO assessment. The contract requires the vendor to furnish certificates of insurance, comply with state “pay‑to‑play” statutes, and retain records for five years.
