Description
This contract provides the City of Mobile with comprehensive payroll processing and staffing services for its Youth Empowered for Success (YES) internship program. The contractor will recruit, hire, and onboard up to 150 interns, manage weekly payroll through a secure web‑based platform, ensure compliance with child‑labor, I‑9, and insurance requirements, deliver on‑site training, and handle invoicing and record‑keeping. The contract is a one‑year, sealed‑bid award with two possible one‑year extensions, allowing the City to maintain continuity of services across multiple summer and school‑break periods.
• Recruit, hire, and onboard ~150 youth interns (ages 16‑24)
• Provide weekly payroll processing, tax withholding, and workers’‑comp coverage
• Deliver on‑site onboarding/training, maintain compliance documentation, and invoice bi‑weekly (net 30)
• Maintain required insurance (CGL, auto, umbrella, workers’ comp) and a single point of contact for the City
• Option to renew annually for up to two additional years
