Description
The Municipality of Skagway is seeking a qualified tour‑broker to operate a tour brokerage system on municipal property, selling a variety of local tour products (bike, helicopter, horse, bus/van, etc.) to visitors. The broker will lease existing kiosks on Broadway Street, Broadway Dock, and Ore Dock, pay market‑based rent, cover all utilities, collect and remit sales tax, and remit at least 1 % of gross revenue to the municipality annually. A 25 % commission cap on vendor sales, staffing requirements tied to ship arrivals, and strict conflict‑of‑interest prohibitions are included. The contract is a three‑year term (April 15 2024 – Oct 31 2027) with yearly performance evaluations and optional renewal at the municipality’s discretion. The award was made to M&M Tours.
