Description
The City of Boise is seeking a qualified firm to provide a master plan update for the Boise Airport. The master plan update will provide a comprehensive review and forecast of landside and airside activities and a plan to meet the forecasted demands. The project includes several major work items, such as pre-planning, public involvement, environmental considerations, existing conditions, aviation forecasts, facility requirements, alternative development, and financial feasibility analysis. The selected firm will be expected to execute a contract with the City of Boise, which will include certain federal provisions required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The contract is expected to be in a "Time and Materials" and "Not to Exceed" format, with a two-fiscal-year term.
Some key points to consider for this project include:
• The City of Boise is exempt from federal and state taxes and will execute the required exemption certificates.
• The selected firm will be required to provide a certification regarding tax delinquency and felony convictions.
• The City of Boise reserves the right to reject any or all submissions and to waive any minor irregularities in the submissions received.
• The contract will include a termination clause, which allows the City to terminate the contract for convenience or cause.
• The selected firm will be required to provide a certification regarding domestic preferences for procurements.
• The City of Boise is an equal opportunity employer and encourages participation from disadvantaged business enterprises (DBEs).
