TSTC Thermal Plant Water Treatment Program-Harlingen

The contract is for the provision of chemicals and service programs to maintain water conditions required to inhibit corrosion, scale formation, and biological growth for chilled-water piping, hot-water piping, condenser-water piping, storage tank, and equipment. The contract was awarded to Kurita America Inc. for a total value of $72,000.00 USD. The service will be for two years with an option to renew for three additional one-year periods. • The contract includes the provision of all chemicals and service for a period of 12 months. • The contract includes the provision of water treatment services, including particle size analysis and microbiological testing. • The contract includes the provision of feed and bleed cooling tower/chill-water control system with web-based microbiological analytical access. • The contract includes the provision of two controllers for condenser and chill loops. • The contract includes a prompt payment discount of 2% for payments made within 15 days.
