This solicitation seeks a qualified contractor to refresh existing pavement markings and install new thermoplastic markings on selected streets in the City of Wilmington, NC. The work includes surface preparation, removal of obsolete markings, installation of a variety of line and symbol markings, traffic control during work, and a 180‑day warranty on installed markings. Bidders must be registered vendors, provide extensive MBE/WBE documentation, and meet strict insurance and E‑Verify requirements. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder that meets the mandatory 14 % minority‑, women‑, or HUB‑owned subcontracting goal.
• Scope: ~149,000 linear feet of thermoplastic pavement markings (double‑yellow, white edge, crosswalks, arrows, word messages, etc.) plus removal of existing markings.
