ASBESTOS ABATEMENT SVCS

This contract provides “as‑needed” asbestos‑abatement services for Stephen F. Austin State University’s facilities. The University will issue project notices for individual abatement jobs; the contractor must submit unit‑price estimates, obtain all permits, perform removal, packaging, transport, and disposal of asbestos‑containing materials, and supply required safety monitoring and documentation. The agreement runs through August 31 2023 with the possibility of two one‑year extensions, and includes mandatory HUB subcontracting goals, bonding, insurance, and strict record‑keeping requirements. • Scope: Removal of floor, ceiling, wall, roofing, insulation, fire‑proofing, and other ACM on a per‑project basis. • Pricing: Unit‑price tables (no fixed ceiling) plus labor, travel, and mobilization rates. • Compliance: Must meet Texas DSHS licensing, EPA certification, performance/payment bonds, insurance minimums, and 20.7 % HUB subcontracting.
