Emergency Vehicle Up-Fit Equipment

This contract provides for the supply, installation, and warranty support of emergency‑vehicle up‑fit equipment (lighting, sirens, communications gear, wiring, mounting hardware, etc.) for Fairfax County’s police, fire, and rescue fleets. The award establishes a two‑year primary‑source requirement contract with Global Public Safety, LLC, supplemented by secondary vendors for urgent items. The contractor must up‑fit at least four vehicles per week with a one‑week turnaround, adhere to detailed wiring and mounting standards, maintain certifications (Core‑Command, EVT), and retain records for five years. Payments are net 30 days; all shipping is FOB destination; insurance and various certifications are mandatory.
