Maintenance Building and Gatekeeper Station

The City of Olathe, Kansas, Public Works Department, is requesting qualified consulting firms to submit qualifications for the preparation of design documents for the construction of a Maintenance Building and Gatekeeper Station. The project includes survey of existing conditions, site work, utility coordination, cost estimates, developing construction plans, coordination with Olathe staff, assist with bidding of projects for construction, and assist as needed throughout construction. The contract was awarded to Berger Devine Yaeger, Inc for $34,369.00. • The project is located at the Olathe Composting Facility, at 127th & Hedge Lane. • The building will house solid waste maintenance equipment and a new gatekeeper station. • The project includes water and sanitary connections as well as needed electrical work. • The contract was awarded on January 10, 2012.
