Weld County is seeking bids for a turn-key lump sum project for General Contracting services to build the new grounds building in Greeley, Colorado. The project involves construction management and general contracting services, including design-bid-build, lump sum pricing, and specific requirements and responsibilities such as site preparation, foundation work, and installation of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems. The project also includes the provision of a full-time superintendent or project manager on site, daily cleanup, and coordination with various stakeholders. • The contractor will be responsible for all material handling and deliveries, and for maintaining a safe and secure site. • The contractor will be required to provide a complete access control system, including pathways, conduits, door prep, hardware, keypad card readers, door proximity sensors, programming, and other components. • The contractor will be responsible for providing a complete test and balance report after installation of the new mechanical equipment and systems. • The contractor will be responsible for coordinating with various stakeholders, including Xcel, City of Greeley, Greeley Fire Department, and County contracted 3rd party testing company. • The contractor will be responsible for removing all unsuitable soils, including grass clippings, trash, and debris built up over time prior to construction. • The contractor will be responsible for providing as-built surveying, offset staking, retention pond volumes for Weld County's review and approval.
