The U.S. Geological Survey National Wildlife Health Center in Honolulu requires a contractor to provide full‑service hazardous waste collection, packaging, transportation, and disposal for approximately 55 gallons of waste per year. The effort includes waste characterization, provision of containers and labeling, acquisition of all necessary permits and licenses, compliance with EPA, DOT and state regulations, and delivery of disposal documentation and certificates. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, one‑year award (09/24/2026 – 09/23/2027) with a 48‑hour response time to start inventorying, three days to complete packaging, and a 25‑day window to remove the waste after packaging. The contractor must maintain appropriate insurance, provide trained and certified personnel, and submit electronic invoices via the Treasury IPP system.
