Description:
The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide Legionella water testing services. The contractor will be responsible for analyzing water samples for the presence of Legionella bacteria. The testing will be conducted in accordance with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) Environmental Legionella Isolation Techniques Evaluation (ELITE) standards. The contractor must be CDC ELITE certified and have experience with Legionella testing. The scope of work includes collecting water samples from hot and cold-water sources, analyzing the samples for Legionella, and providing test results to the VA. * The contractor must be a Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with a small business size of $19 Million. * The contractor must be CDC ELITE certified. * The contractor must have experience with Legionella testing. * The contractor must provide test results in a format specified by the VA. * The contractor must be able to collect and ship samples within 24 hours of collection.
