Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service is seeking a supplier to provide a new Pro-Till 30' Field Cultivator, model PTL30 or equivalent, for the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge in Texas. The cultivator should have specific salient characteristics, including a transport height of 13'-0" to 13'-4", a transport length of 23'-4", and a field length of 28'-8". The machine should also have a weight of 27,500 lbs, a hitch weight of 7,000 lbs, and a number of discs and rollers as specified. The supplier should be within a 50-mile radius of the complex to ensure timely maintenance and parts replacement. The machine is designed for optimal performance, high durability, and efficiency, with robust construction and meticulously engineered components to reduce downtime and maintenance needs. Some key features of the Pro-Till 30' Field Cultivator include: • Independent disc arms with rubber elements to dampen impact and quickly return to operation • High-tensile steel arms for maximum flow-through and triple the spring-back of regular mild steel • Arm-style deflector to redistribute soil and prevent ridges or grooves • Hydraulic jack for perfect balance and stability • Knurled grip couplers and color-coded hydraulic hoses for easy identification and routing • Roll-forward frame design for easy maneuverability in wet conditions • Self-contouring frame to follow varying terrains and maintain consistent depth • Greaseless technology pin eye cylinders and maintenance-free disc bearings for reliable operation • Oversized electroless nickel-plated pins and double V notch blades for robustness and durability

Budget estimate

$50,000 – $200,000

The budget for this opportunity is likely to be in the range of $50,000 to $200,000, considering the cost of a Pro-Till 30' Field Cultivator and other similar agricultural machinery. The factors that may influence the likely payment range include the specific model and features of the cultivator, the supplier's location and reputation, and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's budget for the Anahuac National Wildlife Refuge. Given the detailed specifications and requirements outlined in the document, it is likely that the budget will be on the higher end of this range.
