HVAC Senior Engineer Services

The U.S. Navy’s Puget Sound Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PSNS & IMF) is conducting a Sources‑Sought market research to assess industry capability for providing Marine HVAC Senior Engineer services. Only SeaPort‑NxG Multiple Award IDIQ (MAC) holders may respond. The effort will support design and engineering of HVAC systems for planning‑yard ships, requiring 249 man‑days of work performed on‑site (building 290, CIA) during normal business hours (0720‑1600, Mon‑Fri). Tasks include HVAC calculations, development and checking of up to 48 Ship Installation Drawings (SIDs), preparation of Liaison Action Records (LARs), Ship Change Documents (SCDs) or Ship Alteration Records (SARs), and related engineering studies. The contractor must provide a qualified senior HVAC engineer (mechanical degree, ≥10 years HVAC experience, ≥5 years Navy ship modernization, proficiency with AutoCAD/Inventor and MS Office) and a on‑site supervisor who can be present within two hours of PSNS. Security requirements include Confidential clearance, CAC, DBIDS or other approved badges, and adherence to OPSEC and cyber‑awareness training.
