Description

The State of Tennessee is seeking a contractor to design, produce, and install exhibits at the Natchez Trace Visitor Center. The exhibits should reflect the subjects of flora and fauna, hydrology and erosion, restoration, and site co-management. The target audience is young people in the middle grades, aged 12-14. The contractor will be responsible for providing detailed specifications of exhibit designs and related services, including thematic research, exhibition design, production, and installation. The contract has a maximum budget of $310,000. The contractor will be selected based on their technical qualifications, experience, and approach, as well as their cost proposal. Some key points to consider: • The contractor must provide a technical response and a cost proposal. • The technical response must include information on the contractor's understanding of the project requirements, their approach to completing the scope of work, and their experience with similar projects. • The cost proposal must include the proposed cost for each phase of the project, as well as a total cost for the entire project. • The contractor must also provide references from previous clients, which will be evaluated as part of the selection process. • The contract will be awarded to the contractor who best meets the requirements of the RFP, based on a combination of their technical qualifications, experience, and cost proposal.

Budget estimate

$250,000 – $350,000

Based on the RFP, the total budget for the project is $310,000. This amount will be the budget to the contractor for the design, production, and installation of the exhibits. The budget will be made in accordance with the payment terms and conditions of the contract, which will be negotiated between the State and the contractor. The factors that may influence the likely payment range include the complexity of the exhibit design, the materials and equipment required for production and installation, and the timeline for completion of the project. Given the information provided in the RFP, it is estimated that the budget will be around $310,000.
