Vocational Lab Equipment, Supplies & Housewares

Alief Independent School District is seeking catalog discount pricing for Vocational Lab Equipment, Supplies & Housewares. The proposal applies to various categories, including Automotive, Crafting, Floral, General Lab, and more. Awards will be made to multiple vendors on an incremental basis, with the initial award expected at the June 2024 school board meeting. The contract term will be for five years, beginning July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2029. Vendors may cancel at any time during the contract term with notice. • The District encourages the acquisition of recycled materials to the maximum extent practicable. • The District gives preference in purchasing to products made of recycled materials if they meet applicable specifications. • Vendors must provide a Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for all items sold to Alief ISD, if applicable. • Vendors must comply with all applicable standards, orders, or regulations issued pursuant to the Clean Air Act and the Clean Water Act. • Vendors must comply with the Texas Hazard Communications Act and the Texas Public Information Act. • The contract will be governed by the laws of the State of Texas. • The District may terminate the contract if the vendor fails to comply with the terms and conditions. • The vendor must provide high-quality products that meet or exceed Alief ISD specifications. • The vendor must uphold the manufacturer's standard warranty on all products. • The vendor must obtain prior written approval from the Alief ISD Purchasing Department for any replacement or substitution of an item awarded by bid or outlined on a purchase order.
