Autopsy Services for Nebraska Coroners

The State of Nebraska’s Department of Health and Human Services is seeking a qualified contractor to provide full forensic autopsy and toxicology services for county coroners when a death is suspected to involve an opioid or stimulant overdose. The contractor must perform the autopsy, run required drug‑testing, issue a comprehensive report to both the coroner and DHHS within 30 business days, retain records per CAP standards, and submit monthly invoices and quarterly statistical reports.
