Corn and Bean Seed - KCI

The Kansas Department of Administration, Office of Procurement and Contracts, is seeking bids from qualified vendors for the supply of corn and bean seeds for Kansas Correctional Industries. The seeds must have a guaranteed germination of no less than 95% and be locally adapted to Northeast Kansas/Missouri River bottom ground. The contract will be effective from the date of contract execution through December 31, 2026. • The seeds must be Round-Up ready and have proven recent genetics. • Bidders must provide test plot results from within the past 3 years showing yield results in NE Kansas Missouri River bottom ground. • The successful bidder will be required to deliver the seed to the KCI farm in Lansing, KS. • The contract may be terminated by the State if sufficient funds are not appropriated. • The contractor agrees to comply with all applicable state and federal anti-discrimination laws and regulations.
