The School District of Pickens County, SC is seeking a qualified processor to procure, process, and distribute USDA‑donated commodity foods—primarily beef products—for the 2022‑2023 school year. Bidders must submit both a technical proposal (company background, licensing, insurance, nutrition data, CN‑label, SEPDS, processing‑agreement proof) and a cost proposal (price sheets for each line‑item, with “ALT” markings for any substitute products). The contract requires separate handling of USDA‑donated meat from the processor’s own inventory, compliance with Child Nutrition meal‑pattern nutrition limits, and delivery through the district’s designated distributors (US Foods for “NOI” items and Gold Star for “FFS” items).
