Walker County Government (Fire Rescue) is seeking qualified vendors to supply five brand‑new, purpose‑built Class A fire‑pumper apparatus that meet or exceed NFPA 1901 standards and the detailed specifications listed in the RFP. The contract will cover design, manufacture, delivery, warranty, on‑site training, and post‑delivery support. Vendors must demonstrate experience with similar fire‑apparatus projects, provide comprehensive warranty coverage, and guarantee delivery within 365 days of award, with liquidated damages for late delivery. Proposals are due November 24, 2026, with inquiries due November 9, 2026.
• Purchase of five custom Class A fire‑pumper trucks (minimum 450 hp engine, 1,500 GPM pump, 1,000‑gal booster tank, full NFPA‑compliant equipment).
