Silver Reutilization and Account Maintenance Service

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport is seeking a contractor to provide silver reutilization and account maintenance services. The contractor will be responsible for refining silver-bearing material recovered from batteries to achieve 99.9% purity, and maintaining electronic accounts for the government to store the refined silver credit. The contractor will also be required to provide reports on the materials received and processed, account balances, and progress. • The contractor will receive shipments of silver-bearing material from the government, with estimated annual requirements of 328,060 troy ounces of high silver content, 582,421 troy ounces of low silver content, and 439,108 troy ounces for account maintenance. • The contractor will be required to process the silver-bearing material within 60 days of receipt and provide reports on the materials received and processed, account balances, and progress. • The contractor will be required to maintain electronic accounts for the government and provide account balance reports and quarterly progress reports. • The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and laws.
