Code Blue Emergency Shelter

The Luzerne County Office of Human Services is seeking information from qualified organizations to provide emergency Code Blue shelter services during severe winter weather. The desired services include shelter operations, staffing, capacity, transportation, partnerships, case management, safety, and geographic coverage. Respondents are requested to provide information about their organization, services, facility location, staffing structure, partnerships, and estimated costs. The goal is to develop a county-wide Code Blue Emergency Shelter Program to provide temporary emergency shelter during extreme cold weather events.
