The City of Dothan is seeking qualified architectural firms to design and develop a new Pet Rescue & Adoption Center. This RFQ calls for comprehensive architectural services that will guide the project from schematic design through construction documents and construction administration. The scope includes site planning, facility layout, code compliance, sustainability considerations, and coordination with engineering disciplines. • Develop conceptual and schematic designs for a modern, animal‑friendly facility. • Prepare detailed construction documents, including plans, sections, elevations, and specifications. • Ensure compliance with local building codes, ADA requirements, and animal welfare standards. • Provide cost estimates, value engineering, and construction administration support. • Coordinate with civil, structural, and MEP engineers as well as the City’s project team.
