26-2365 Kitchen Hood Cleaning RFP

The University of Notre Dame du Lac is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive kitchen exhaust system (hood, duct, and fan) cleaning services. The primary purpose of this service contract is to ensure regulatory compliance, minimize fire risk, maintain optimal system performance, and extend the lifespan of University assets across all designated campus dining facilities. The contract term is for 3 years with 2 optional one-year extensions. The contractor will be required to provide proof of current Certified Exhaust Cleaning Specialist certification for the supervisor(s) who will be assigned to the Notre Dame account, upload a sample digital inspection report from a previous client of similar size, describe their company’s Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedure for kitchen exhaust fans and electrical components, and list the brand and product names of the degreasing chemicals they intend to use. • The contractor must have experience in providing kitchen exhaust system cleaning services. • The contractor must have a good understanding of the University's mission and conduct its business in a professional and ethical manner. • The contractor must provide high-quality customer service and offer innovative solutions to meet the needs of the University. • The contractor must be able to work with the University's faculty and staff to ensure that the products and services purchased meet their needs. • The contractor must be able to provide comprehensive kitchen exhaust system cleaning services, including hood, duct, and fan cleaning.
