Radiation Safety Officer for the Eastern Oklahoma VA Health Care System

The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a qualified Radiation Safety Officer (RSO) to provide on‑site radiation‑safety management for three VA health‑care facilities in Eastern Oklahoma. The RSO will serve as the director‑appointed point of contact for all radiation‑related activities, oversee the Radiation Safety Committee, manage dosimetry and ALARA programs, conduct routine surveys and equipment QA, respond to incidents within two hours, and ensure compliance with VHA directives and federal radiation safety regulations.
