Solicitation: 25000000002 RFP for Lands Division Appraisers

The Alabama Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, State Lands Division, is seeking appraisal services for land transactions. The selected appraiser must be a State of Alabama licensed, MAI qualified appraiser holding a current professional license and registered in the State of Alabama. The scope of work includes providing appraisal services for acquisitions, sales, and leases of state-owned properties. The contract is expected to be for a term of two years, with the option to renew or extend at the sole discretion of State Lands. • The appraiser must have the MAI designation from the Appraisal Institute. • The appraiser must be duly professionally licensed in the State of Alabama. • The appraiser must be registered with the Alabama Secretary of State. • The appraiser must provide appraisal services for land transactions, including acquisitions, sales, and leases. • The appraiser must utilize the services of individuals licensed and skilled in the profession for which they will be used in performing services. • The appraiser must maintain financial records, supporting documents, statistical records, and all other records pertinent to the contract for a period of three years from the date of the final payment.
