Emergency Procurement for Group Care Services for High Acuity Youth

The Department of Social Services has awarded an emergency contract to Wise Care Services, LLC to provide group care services to high acuity youth using a small group home model. This program aims to provide more intensive supervision and support than traditional group care for youth who are experiencing or are at risk for extreme placement instability. The contract amount is $749,125. • The services will be provided to youth in foster care who have high levels of emotional, behavioral, and developmental needs. • The program will serve youth who are experiencing or are at risk for extreme placement instability. • The contract was awarded on an emergency basis due to the lack of adequate providers to meet the needs of these youth.
