The City of Parkersburg is seeking a qualified contractor to repair the Southwood Pond overflow pipe and associated infrastructure. The work includes removal and replacement of a failed overflow pipe, installation of a new Type G inlet, replacement of gabion wall, repair of concrete sidewalks and spillway sections, back‑filling and compaction to USACE dam standards, and installation of erosion‑ and sediment‑control measures. The contractor must also protect existing utilities, obtain necessary permits, and complete the entire scope within a tight 30‑day window after issuance of the Notice to Proceed. • Replace 150 ft of overflow pipe (HDPE 24‑in) and install new inlet. • Install/replace DURA‑WELD gabion wall, repair concrete sidewalks, and perform backfill per USACE dam guidelines. • Provide full erosion‑ and sediment‑control, utility protection, and comply with WV DOT, WVDEP, and ADA standards.
