RFP 2026-019 Insurance Broker Service

Union County, North Carolina, is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide Insurance Broker Service. The selected broker will be responsible for providing comprehensive brokerage services for various types of insurance coverage, including Property, General Liability, Automobile, and more. The broker will be compensated on an annual fee basis and will be required to provide a detailed description of their brokerage services, including their process for marketing and securing coverage with carriers that meet the County's requirements. The proposal should include a cover letter, company background and experience, proposed brokerage services, broker team and implementation plan, references, cost proposal, and required signature forms. • The County is seeking a broker with experience in providing insurance coverage to public entities. • The broker will be responsible for evaluating and marketing appropriate coverage for the County's portion of the Catawba River Water Treatment Plant. • The broker will be required to provide a detailed cost proposal, including the total annual fee for procuring insurance coverage. • The County reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive technicalities. • The County encourages good faith effort outreach to Minority Businesses and Small Businesses.
