Driver Training Simulator

Northwest Louisiana Technical Community College is seeking a vendor to supply, install, and support a high‑fidelity driver‑training simulator to be mounted in a customer‑provided trailer. The solicitation is a sealed‑bid IFB; bids must be received by September 23, 2026, 2:00 PM CST. The contract may be extended for up to three years and includes on‑site installation, two days of operator training, lifetime support, and a full‑service warranty. • Provide one TranSim Series 8 driver‑training simulator (hardware + software) with full vehicle cockpit, motion base, and immersive graphics. • Supply associated packages: Manual transmission vehicle package, D‑Box Gen3 motion base, and software add‑ons (scenario builder, LMS, various vehicle‑type expansions). • Install the system in the buyer’s trailer, perform on‑site commissioning, and deliver two days of training (operations + virtual training). • Offer lifetime technical support, software updates, and a first‑year full‑service warranty. • All equipment must be new, FOB Destination, and priced inclusive of freight. • Vendor must be a Louisiana‑certified small entrepreneur (Veteran‑Owned, Service‑Connected Disabled Veteran‑Owned, or Hudson Initiative) or demonstrate good‑faith subcontracting to such firms. • Bids must be signed, on standard state forms, and valid for at least 30 days.
