RFP 385 - 70 + / - Room Hotel with Grill or Lounge Style Restaurant

The Jekyll Island State Park Authority is seeking a qualified and experienced hotel developer to design, develop, construct, and operate a 70 +/- room hotel with a grill or lounge-style restaurant at the Jekyll Island Golf Club. The hotel should complement the overall character of Jekyll Island and the Golf Club, and include a parking plan, service court, green and outdoor spaces, pool, and other amenities. The successful respondent will be required to negotiate a lease with JIA and obtain necessary permits and approvals. • The hotel should have a minimum of 70 rooms and a maximum of 70 +/- rooms. • The hotel should include a grill or lounge-style restaurant. • The hotel should be designed to complement the overall character of Jekyll Island and the Golf Club. • The hotel should include a parking plan with a minimum ratio of 1.3 parking spaces per room. • The hotel should include a service court for hotel operations. • The hotel should include green and outdoor spaces, including a plan for landscaping. • The hotel should include a pool and other amenities.
