Stagehand and Production Personnel

The City of Surprise is seeking qualified production house support services for touring performances and City-wide events. The production requirements will vary by event and may range from minimal technical support to full-scale touring production support. The City is looking for experienced stagehands and production personnel to provide services on an as-needed, event-by-event basis. The successful contractor will be required to provide a range of services, including load-in and load-out, rigging, scenic assembly, lighting, audio, and video equipment setup and teardown. The contractor will also be required to provide personnel in various roles, including head carpenter, assistant carpenter, lighting technician, audio technician, and video technician. • The contractor must have experience working in professional performing arts venues and with touring productions. • The contractor must be capable of following industry-standard safety practices and instructions from touring production representatives and City of Surprise staff. • The contractor must ensure adequate staffing levels based on event specifications provided by the City. • The contractor must be punctual, professional, and appropriately dressed. • The contractor must demonstrate the ability to provide staffing for simultaneous or consecutive events when required.
