The DeKalb County School District (DCSD) is seeking a qualified construction management firm to act as Construction Manager at Risk (CMAR) for the complete modernization of Stoneview Elementary School in Lithonia, GA. The scope includes demolition, new construction, and extensive upgrades (security vestibule, media center, classrooms, HVAC, roof, electrical, fire sprinkler, kitchen, finishes, parking, site grading, storm‑water, playground, etc.) with a Stated Cost Limitation of $30 M. The CMAR will provide pre‑construction services (cost validation, value engineering, scheduling, procurement planning) and then manage the construction phase under a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP). The project schedule targets a Notice to Proceed on March 1 2027 and Substantial Completion by June 29 2029. Bidders must attend a mandatory virtual pre‑submittal conference (Oct 15) and a mandatory on‑site visit (Oct 16). Qualifications are due Nov 5 2026. The award is anticipated December 2026.
