Description
The County of Cecil is seeking qualified contractors to perform a comprehensive repair and improvement (I&I) project in the Town of Port Deposit. The work includes eliminating stormwater and spring flow from entering the sanitary sewer by installing new storm‑drain piping and related appurtenances along MD 222, and replacing a section of sanitary sewer on Race Street. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder and will be a lump‑sum term contract covering materials, labor, equipment, traffic control, erosion control, and associated warranties.
• Scope: new storm‑drain pipe installation, sanitary sewer replacement, utility cuts, backfill, manhole and inlet construction, pavement and marking, traffic control, erosion‑sediment control.
• Location: Port Deposit, Cecil County, MD (MD 222 corridor and Race Street).
• Delivery: F.O.B. Destination/Inside Delivery; all costs must be included in the lump‑sum bid.
• Warranty: 1‑year warranty on workmanship and materials.
• Bid submission: electronic via ProcureNow by 12:00 PM on Dec 10 2026; bid bond required.
• Required certifications: Certificate of Status, business license, experience/equipment forms, insurance, procurement affidavit.
• Evaluation: lowest responsive and responsible bid; award expected within 180 days after bid opening.
