Commercial Internet Services USCG Sector WAK

The US Coast Guard is issuing a notice of intent to award a sole source contract for commercial internet services for the USCG Sector Western Alaska (WAK) in Fort Richardson, AK. The contract will be awarded to GCI Communication Corp. and will include one base year of services with three one-year option periods. The period of performance will expire on 31 Mar 2029 if all options are exercised. • The contract is for commercial internet services • The services will be provided in Fort Richardson, AK • The contract is being awarded on a sole source basis due to the lack of alternative providers • The USCG will continue to conduct market research to identify new providers and other options to remove barriers to competition • Interested organizations may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the effort in writing to the identified point of contact.
