RFP 27-08 Hammond Police Uniforms

The City of Hammond is seeking a vendor to supply and service police uniforms for its public‑safety personnel on an “as‑needed” basis. The contract will run for twelve months with the option to extend for two additional one‑year periods, and the vendor must provide free alterations, sew‑on patches, and FOB‑destination delivery. No minimum quantity is guaranteed; the City will place orders throughout the contract term based on staffing needs. • Provide new, unused police apparel (shirts, pants, jackets, tactical gear, etc.) and related accessories. • Perform initial sizing measurements after award and offer free alterations for all garments. • Apply city‑supplied patches/rank insignia at no cost; any embroidery is chargeable per item. • Deliver individually packaged employee sets (name, department, item count) FOB‑destination at no cost to the City. • Disclose all unit prices and any extra fees (size up‑charges, restocking, etc.) in the proposal; the City may award all or part of the work to one or multiple vendors.
