Towing Rotation Services for Police Department

The City of Sandy is seeking proposals from qualified towing companies to provide 24-hour towing services for wrecked, impounded, and non-drivable vehicles. The selected vendor will be required to comply with all applicable state and local statutes and regulations. The term of the proposed contract will be for three years, with an option to renew for an additional two years. The vendor must have a certified State Tax Yard within Sandy City and must be able to tow motor homes, house trailers, utility trailers, and boat trailers. • The vendor must provide a list of all wrecker equipment, including make, model, year, and class of tow truck. • The vendor must provide evidence of ability to obtain a certificate of appropriate insurance that meets Sandy City's requirements. • The vendor must provide prices for all services for which the wrecker intends to charge. • The vendor must have a manned office and wrecker yard within Sandy City.
