General Liability Claims Administration Services

The County of San Mateo is seeking a qualified firm to provide third-party administration claim services to supervise and administer general liability claims against the County. The selected firm will be responsible for adjusting and managing claims, conducting investigations, and negotiating with claimants. The firm will also be required to provide quarterly reports and summaries of claims activity. The contract will have a minimum term of one year, with the option to extend for up to five years. • The firm will be responsible for managing approximately 245 general liability claims. • The firm will be required to use the County's Risk Management Information Software (RMIS) for claims management and reporting. • The firm will be expected to provide a transition plan to ensure continuity of service. • The firm will be required to provide a fee proposal, including a list of services and costs. • The County reserves the right to reject any proposals that are not responsive to the RFP requirements.
