Term Contract for Multidisciplinary Professional Architectural/Engineering Services

Virginia Tech is seeking qualified firms to enter into a one‑year term contract (with up‑to‑three one‑year renewal options) to provide multidisciplinary professional architectural and engineering services on an “as‑needed” basis. Work will be issued through individual Project Orders that may encompass design, cost estimating, feasibility studies, detailed construction documents, analysis, inspections, and related consulting services for any Virginia Tech‑owned, leased, or occupied property throughout Virginia. The contract ceiling is $10 million for the term, with each Project Order capped at $2.5 million. Small‑business participation of at least 50 % of discretionary spend is required. • Scope covers architectural, structural, mechanical, civil, and related engineering disciplines. • Services are performed under Virginia Tech’s construction and professional standards, including universal design and Section 179D considerations. • Proposals must be submitted electronically via the Jaggaer portal by July 17 2026; firms must be registered in eVA and Jaggaer prior to submission. • Evaluation will focus on personnel qualifications, past performance, responsiveness, small‑business subcontracting, and cost competitiveness.
