RFP for Custodial Equipment Service and Maintenance

The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is for Washington County to secure services for maintenance and repair of custodial equipment, focusing on large Tennant brand equipment such as walk behind and riding sweepers and scrubbers. The County is seeking a five-year contract. The successful Contractor will have the ability to perform all the functions below, including mandatory services such as repairing and maintaining equipment, providing on-site service, and sourcing EOM parts. The Contractor must also provide a self-service portal for requesting service and provide preventative maintenance on riding equipment quarterly. • Mandatory services include repair and maintenance of equipment, on-site service, consistent technician assignment, background checks, and service within two business days. • Optional services include service to equipment listed as Optional in Appendix B. • The Contractor must provide a cover letter, qualifications and experience, fee schedule, references, and signed Appendix A. • The evaluation criteria include signed Appendix A, expressed understanding of the services, qualifications and experience, cost, and references.
