Waste Water Treatment Plant - Expression of Interest

The State of West Virginia, Department of Administration, Purchasing Division is soliciting expressions of interest from qualified firms to provide architectural/engineering services for the upgrade of the Cedar Lakes Conference Center's wastewater treatment plant. The project includes review, evaluation, design, bid preparation, permitting, and construction oversight of a new wastewater treatment plant. The selected firm will be responsible for providing all necessary services to design the facilities, prepare bid documents, and assist with construction oversight. The project goals and objectives include reviewing and analyzing the conditions and operation of the facility, determining the best wastewater treatment solution, and providing a cost-effective and efficient solution that meets the needs of the conference center. • The project requires the selected firm to have experience with similar projects and to demonstrate a clear procedure for communication with the owner during all phases of the project. • The firm should also demonstrate a history of projects that met the owner's budget and a clear plan to ensure this project can be constructed within the project budget. • The firm should have competent and acceptable experience in all expected professional disciplines necessary for the design and completion of the project. • The firm should be prepared to discuss and clarify required items submitted with the expression of interest during oral presentations/interviews.
