Description
The City of Newburyport is seeking a qualified telecommunications infrastructure developer, carrier, or tower‑management company to deliver a full life‑cycle telecommunications tower on Plum Island. The vendor will be responsible for designing, permitting, financing, constructing, owning, leasing, operating, and maintaining the tower, as well as demolishing the existing structure and relocating safety equipment. This “design‑build‑operate‑maintain” contract requires expertise in multi‑carrier tower construction, public‑safety communications integration, and long‑term asset management.
• Design and engineering of a multi‑carrier tower that supports city public‑safety communications.
