Municipal Rental Housing Search III

The Town of Nantucket is seeking proposals from current Nantucket property owners to provide year-round rental housing for Town of Nantucket municipal and contract employees. The contract will begin on October 1, 2026, and expire on September 30, 2027. Proposers must provide a property with between 1 and 4 bedrooms, proof of ownership, and proof of homeowners insurance. The Town will evaluate proposals based on criteria such as availability, condition, value, proximity to goods and services, and energy efficiency. • The property must be available for at least one year and renewable for up to two additional years. • The property must be in good condition, with all utilities operational and no major repairs needed. • The proposer must provide proof of financial stability and a list of references. • The proposer must complete a price proposal table and provide a proposed lease agreement. • The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals if such rejection is in its best interest.
