The Salem Area Mass Transit District (SAMTD) is seeking a professional recruiting firm to nationally recruit candidates and assist with the selection process for one executive role: General Manager. The selected Consultant shall perform various tasks during the recruitment process, including meeting with SAMTD's Board Executive committee, developing a job profile, identifying advertising sources, preparing and placing brochures and advertisements, and performing comprehensive background checks of finalists. The Consultant will also guarantee successful performance of the recruited General Manager following hire and provide a mitigation plan for candidates that are not successful. • The recruitment process will include a national search for a General Manager. • The Consultant will be required to provide a detailed explanation of how they will address anticipated challenges for this type of recruitment. • The Consultant will be required to provide a project schedule and a statement of services. • The Consultant will be required to provide an explanation of how they will guarantee successful performance of the recruited General Manager following hire. • The Consultant will be required to provide a mitigation plan for candidates that are not successful.
