Description
The City of Cincinnati, on behalf of the Metropolitan Sewer District of Greater Cincinnati (MSDGC), is soliciting bids to furnish all labor, materials, and equipment needed to install a total of 40 Axis CCTV cameras (23 at the Sycamore WWTP and 17 at the Polk Run WWTP) and associated networking infrastructure. The contractor must route power and data cabling through rigid aluminum conduit, install networking cabinets, POE switches, UPS units, and, where wiring is impractical, provide approved wireless bridges. All cameras will be supplied by MSDGC; the contractor provides mounts, conduit, cable, fiber where needed, and performs configuration within the existing Genetec software. Work must commence within five days of the Notice to Proceed and be completed within 210 days. A mandatory pre‑bid site visit is required on October 27, 2026. Bids are due electronically by November 10, 2026.
• Install 40 CCTV cameras (Axis models P1468, M5525‑E, P5655‑E) in inverted position.
• Provide all conduit, Cat‑6 cabling, multimode fiber, and wiring protection per strict specifications.
• Supply and install networking cabinets, PoE switches, UPS units, and Ubiquiti Wi‑Fi bridges where required.
• Perform camera integration, configuration, and documentation in Genetec software.
• Comply with Ohio prevailing‑wage rules, safety standards, and SBE participation (3% goal).
• Submit complete bid package (Forms, questionnaires, Excel pricing) via VSS portal; include a 10 % bid bond and 100 % performance surety.
