Description
The City of Bryan is seeking a qualified construction firm to execute Phase 1 of the Woodville Road widening project (Job # 332‑350‑411‑425‑DE‑2302). The scope includes demolition, clearing, earthwork, concrete and asphalt paving, sidewalks, shared‑use paths, storm‑sewer, waterlines, sanitary sewer, and related utilities. The contractor must obtain permits, provide performance and payment bonds, supply warranties, and deliver operation‑and‑maintenance manuals. The estimated construction budget is $6.2 million, with a target start of 20 January 2027 and a projected completion on 11 September 2028 (≈ 415 working days). Bids are due electronically or in hard copy by 2 PM CT on 29 October 2026; a non‑mandatory pre‑proposal Zoom meeting is scheduled for 16 October 2026. The award is anticipated on 18 November 2026.
