The County of Montgomery is seeking a contractor to operate the Shady Grove Transfer Station, including the acceptance, processing, loading, transfer, staging, transportation, and disposal of municipal solid waste (MSW). The contract will be for a period of 5 years, with an option to extend for an additional 5 years. The contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary personnel, equipment, and services to perform the work. The County will provide the facility and the MSW to be processed. The contractor will be required to comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and standards.
