GOLF CART LEASE PROGRAM

The Knox County Procurement Division is seeking proposals for a Golf Cart Lease Program. The program requires the lease of 72 gas-powered golf carts, two gasoline-powered beverage/utility carts, and one gasoline-powered range picker. The successful proposer will be required to maintain full ownership of the carts throughout the term of the lease and provide service and maintenance as needed. The lease payment program will be set up on an eight-month payment schedule, and the proposer must detail the proposed equipment, suitability, features, and life expectancy of the carts. • The golf carts must have a minimum specification of OHC, 404 cc, single cylinder, air-cooled engine, 14.0 hp, 4.6-gallon fuel capacity, 12V battery, and a top speed of 12-15 mph. • The proposer must provide a warranty for the life of the lease and replace defective carts as needed. • The proposer must also provide proof of insurance and comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. • The proposal must be submitted in a three-ring binder with specific tabs and must include a table of contents, vendor information, and a signed statement authorizing the submission of the proposal.
