Description
The Delaware Technical & Community College (DTCC) is seeking one or more vendors to provide comprehensive snow and ice removal services for all of its campuses and associated properties throughout the winter season. The contract will cover plowing, shoveling, salting, and ice‑melt application on parking lots, sidewalks, entrances, fire lanes, and any other designated surfaces, with performance standards that require continuous accessibility and liability for any damage caused. The award will be a multi‑year (three‑year base term with up to three one‑year extensions) competitive sealed‑proposal solicitation, allowing multiple vendors to be awarded for geographic or capacity reasons.
• Scope includes seasonal labor, equipment, materials, 24‑hour communication, pre‑season walkthroughs, and post‑season reporting for 11 Delaware locations.
• Pricing is submitted per snow‑event (≤ 8 inches) for four service categories at each campus; prices must remain firm through 30 Jun 2027.
• Contract period: Jan 15 2027 – Jan 15 2030 (base); optional one‑year extensions; monthly usage reports and quarterly subcontractor diversity reports required.
• Vendor must meet insurance, licensing, background‑check, and green‑equipment requirements; damage liability is fully on the contractor.
